Discover our house rules and privacy policy

At Dental Center Frederikstraat, we value our patients’ privacy. We are committed to providing high-quality care with extra attention to the safety of both our patients and our team. That’s why we’ve established some house rules. Together, we ensure our practice remains a pleasant, open, and safe space for everyone.

Your visit

Please make sure to arrive on time so we can assist everyone as scheduled.
Appointments that are not cancelled at least 48 hours in advance may be charged, regardless of the reason.
If you miss three appointments without prior notice within a 24-month period, your registration will be terminated.
Without access to your previous dental records, we cannot register you as a patient unless otherwise agreed.
Experiencing pain or an emergency? Call us during opening hours. Outside office hours, contact the emergency dental service.
Pets are not allowed in the practice. Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome.
(Paid) parking is available nearby. We are not liable for fines resulting from extended treatment time.

Privacy and Safety

We treat each other with respect. Violence, discrimination, intimidation, or any form of inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated — including on social media.
In cases of aggression, vandalism, or theft, the police will be contacted.
If you notice an unsafe situation, report it at the reception immediately.
Would you like to take photos, videos, or audio recordings? Please ask permission in advance from those involved.

Food, Drinks, and Waste

Smoking is only permitted outside the building.
Alcohol and drugs are not allowed in the practice.
Please use the bins provided and help keep the practice clean.

Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
If you find an item that isn’t yours, please hand it in at reception. You can also inquire there if you’ve lost something.
Weapons are strictly prohibited.

Use of personal data
We only store and process personal data that you provide directly to us, or where it is clear at the time of submission that the data is provided for processing purposes.

Depending on the service you use, we may collect the following data:

Name and address details;
Gender;
Email address;
Phone number;
Information about your health;
Name of your health insurer;
Name of other healthcare providers;
Appointment date and time;
Payment details.

These details are used for the following purposes:

Creating your account;
Managing your medical file;
Scheduling appointments;
Improving our services;
Delivering other services you have requested.

Disclosure to third parties
Your data will not be shared with third parties, unless they are directly involved in carrying out the agreement between you and us, or unless we are legally required to do so.

Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect personal data from misuse and unauthorized access. We collect anonymized statistics on our website, but never in areas where health data is shared.

Retention period
We never keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes described in this privacy statement or on our website, unless legal obligations require otherwise.

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy. We recommend checking it regularly to stay informed. You may always request to view, change, or delete your personal data.
